Medical Oncology Clinic Nurse

Job Summary

The Radiation Oncology Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the radiation oncology department at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. Duties include patient education, physical assessment, nutrition counseling, and assisting physicians with exams and procedures. Strong communication skills—written, auditory, visual—are essential.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to radiation oncology patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care.
• Perform physical assessments and document findings.
• Offer nutrition counseling and support.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Washington Registered Nurse license (active).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum one year of oncology nursing experience.
