Registered Nurse – Miramar Health Center, Kennewick, WA

Position

Highlights
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • EMR system: EPIC
  • Hourly rate: $41.26–$50.55 (DOE) with potential for higher rates for experienced candidates
  • Additional pay for bilingual skills, paid by hours worked
  • Hiring/Retention Bonus: $7,000 total – $2,100 at hire, $2,800 at 180 days, $2,100 at 12 months (prorated for full‑time equivalency)

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care during visits, including gathering chief complaints, vital signs, and complete health history; conduct baseline physical assessment
  • Perform phone triage to determine next steps and follow‑up care
  • Document health histories, assessments, actions, and medications in the EMR
  • Assist providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Start IVs when ordered and educate patients on procedure, site selection, and possible complications
  • Collect allergy and pre‑existing condition information; explain medication usage, side effects, and obtain consent
  • Collaborate with providers to develop patient care plans, coordinate referrals, and identify additional services
  • Coordinate patient flow with ancillary staff to maintain smooth operations
  • Perform clinical duties in accordance with The Joint Commission, HRSA, and YVFWC standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing (Bachelor of Science preferred)
  • 1 year of outpatient or clinical RN experience (preferred)
  • Active Washington RN license
  • Dual Washington/Oregon license required within 120 days
  • Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) and suicide‑prevention training (details omitted for brevity)
  • Military nurses exempt from NLC requirement
  • BCLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS and PALS preferred
  • Eligibility for bilingual differential compensation when ALTA score 10 achieved;
    Spanish bilingual proficiency level 10 preferred
