- Nurse Practitioner Duties
- Occupational health treatment
- Diagnoses and treats acute and episodic illnesses
- Prescribes all necessary medications and treatments
- Performs comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develops and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitates referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicates with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Supports coordination of beryllium cases by facilitating education and coordinating medical monitoring appointments with offsite beryllium facilities
- Interviews workers and managers, visits to worksites and facilities, and reviews employee job task analysis documents.
- Supports the team with the delivery of timely reports and information
- Manages the emergency preparedness program
- Participates in meetings with PNNL management
- Previous experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER (preferred)
- Previous administrative experience preffered.
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team oriented
- WA Nurse Practitioner License (Required)
- BLS/ ACLS Certification (Required)
