Director ICU

Trios Health in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Director ICU to lead our intensive care unit. This onsite leadership role oversees daily ICU operations, clinical quality, and patient safety while fostering a culture of compassion and teamwork. The Director will manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation; implement evidence-based protocols; and ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, this leader will mentor staff, drive performance improvement, and support professional growth to deliver exceptional critical care to our community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the ICU to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate ICU nursing and clinical staff.
• Develop, implement, and monitor ICU policies, protocols, and best practices.
• Manage ICU budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care planning.
• Engage patients and families to support compassionate, patient-centered care.
