American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of recent acute OB experience and fetal monitoring certification.

• Work in the Birth Center on the Labor and Delivery unit
• OB specialty caring for adult patients
• Unit includes 6 labor rooms, 11 mother/baby rooms, and 3 triage beds
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• Unit volume averages 110 deliveries per month
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, totaling 48 hours per month
• Float requirement to Mother/Baby unit
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Centricity and Paragon EHR systems

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Current certifications required:
  Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• OR circulation and mother/baby experience required
• Triage experience preferred but not required

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Labor and Delivery unit within a teaching hospital
• Strong communication skills and flexibility are valued for this role
• Scrub colors required are blue and blue/green
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
