Compensation:
Assistant Manager pay range: $18.38 - $21.50 per hour with bonus opportunities for achieving store KPIs. Supervisor pay range: $19.13 - $19.13 per hour. All roles are eligible for a 401(k) plan and a full benefits package.
- Recruit, train, and develop a motivated team; foster a positive work environment, set clear goals, and provide ongoing feedback to ensure team performance.
- Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and meeting sales targets.
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance; ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Manage store budgets, control expenses, and analyze sales data to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
- Implement local marketing initiatives and build strong relationships with the community to enhance brand presence.
- Stay current with industry trends, identify improvement opportunities, and implement innovative solutions to improve store operations.
- Perform additional duties and projects as required.
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or equivalent with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
- Analytical skills: ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Flexibility to work the required hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Technical proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
- English language proficiency: clear speaking, reading, writing, and business‑related mathematics.
Assistant Store Manager:
Availability during all store operating times, minimum 5 days per week, 44 hours per week with increased hours during peak sales periods. Supervisor:
Minimum 5 days per week, 30 hours per week, and availability on weekends and holidays. All Management:
Availability on weekends and holidays, punctuality, regular attendance, reliable transportation required.
Prolonged standing (5–14 hours/day); long shifts during peak periods. Requires stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, lifting items 5–25 lbs. Ladder use may be required. Good vision, moderate noise tolerance needed.
EducationHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred 2+ years of retail leadership experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
