Merchandiser - Kennewick​/Tri Kennewick, WA

Overview

Merchandisers play a pivotal role at Columbia Distributing, handling the final step of getting beverages into customers’ hands. They work closely with Delivery, Sales, and retail partners to ensure products are stocked, rotated, and displayed for sale.

• Stock and rotate beverages from store back stock and delivery loads, handling cases, bottles, and cans of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Fill and rotate products in cold boxes and dry shelves, building and maintaining POS displays as necessary.
• Drive personal vehicle on assigned route (Merchandisers do not transport product in personal vehicles).
• Provide excellent customer service to assigned accounts and develop positive, cooperative, team‑oriented relationships with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and store personnel.
• Engage directly with store personnel and Sales teammates to complete account services efficiently.
• Accurately clock in and out using the required timekeeping application, complying with state labor laws for breaks.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Core Values at all times.
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and with a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting productivity deadlines through effective organization and time management skills.

This job operates primarily indoors within accounts, with occasional outdoor work.

• Lift/carry 35–60 lbs. repetitively; push/pull up to 100 lbs. using a manual cart or pallet jack.
• Bend, stoop, crouch, squat; use arms, wrists, and hands for grasping.
• Climb stairs; work indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle for driving positions.
• Must be able to operate manual, non‑powered equipment.

Full‑time position; days and hours vary and may include overtime as necessary. Availability on weekends is required.

Local travel required; regional travel may be requested.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance (for driving positions).
• Must own and operate a mobile smartphone device.

• Previous grocery or retail experience.

Pay Range: $18.25 – $18.50 per hour.
