Position Overview
Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical electromechanical infrastructure throughout North America. Pearce seeks experienced HVAC technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell tower sites. The role is fast‑paced, requires self‑direction, high motivation, travel, and a willingness to learn and grow in the telecom industry. Candidates must reside in the Richland, Pasco, or Kennewick, Washington areas.
CoreResponsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire cooling systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call‑out services.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally in accordance with the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification (required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidates must reside in the Richland, Pasco, or Kennewick, Washington areas.
- Must be available for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs on occasion.
- Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnights required; company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as needed.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). rate: $30.00‑$38.00 DOE. Compensation is influenced by skill set, level of experience, and location. Employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem, and other applicable compensation.Benefits
