About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports daily hotel maintenance and repair needs to keep the property safe, clean, and fully operational.
Essential Functions- Respond to maintenance requests in guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on rooms, equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify needed repairs.
- Assist with room turns and out-of-order room recoveries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shops, storage, and work areas.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist with vendor access and support contracted work as needed.
- Maintain work order documentation and logs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Experience- Prior hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance experience preferred (willing to train with basic skills).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Trade school or HVAC/electrical/plumbing training a plus.
- Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Ability to troubleshoot common issues.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize work orders.
- Professional guest interaction and communication.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Scheduling may include weekends, evenings, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, work in mechanical spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
This position operates in a hotel facilities environment and may involve exposure to mechanical spaces, noise, and variable temperatures.
Reports ToGeneral Manager and/or other designated Company leadership.
