This role oversees wood framing for a ground-up retirement community within a multifamily commercial apartment project. You read and interpret blueprints, lead and participate in carpentry work, and support general site operations. You bring your own hand tools and remain flexible to take on additional tasks needed to keep the job site running smoothly.

• Perform and oversee wood framing work for a ground-up retirement community within a commercial multifamily project.
• Read, interpret, and apply construction blueprints to ensure accurate framing and layout.
• Use personal hand tools safely and effectively to complete carpentry and framing tasks.
• Assist with site clean-up to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Handle and move materials around the job site, including loading and unloading as needed.
• Support general labor activities associated with a commercial construction site.
• Coordinate daily tasks with the site team and remain open to any other assigned duties required to meet project timelines.
• Follow established safety procedures and job site protocols at all times.

• Previous experience working on a commercial construction job site.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
• Proficiency in wood framing and general construction practices.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks such as site clean-up and material handling.
• Experience with inventory control and managing materials on a job site.
• Ability to safely load and unload trucks and move materials around the site.
• Reliable access to and proficient use of personal hand tools for carpentry work.

• Experience in rough carpentry on commercial or multifamily projects.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced construction environment with changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel.
• Solid understanding of basic job site safety practices and procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennewick, WA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
