Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is:
To serve as the Program Officer to the Group Commander and Deputy Group Commander, ensuring that goals, objectives, and policies are effectively carried out. With little oversight and maximum autonomy, the incumbent oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day operations of the Command Support Staff (CSS) and four subordinate units.

The incumbent is authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the 62d OG Commander in all areas of functional responsibilities. Duties:
As the Program Officer for the OG/CC and OG/CD, plans, organizes, and oversees the day-to-day operation of the Command Support Staff and subordinate units.

With maximum autonomy, participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments to include long-term planning, functional/technical advice and guidance, and continuity of management. With maximum autonomy, represents the Operations Group in lieu of senior leadership. Performs personnel management responsibilities with maximum autonomy.

EDUCATION:

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

This position is with Air Mobility Command, Department of the Air Force.

The posted pay range is $83935 – $109122/yr.

This position is eligible for telework.

This position requires a Secret security clearance.
