Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Finance Supervisor, the Finance Clerk L2 is responsible for processing payables for Tikinagan, checking and inputting financial data as well as providing other support services. On the job training will be provided.

• Knowledge of and experience with the principles and practices of accounting.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills and experience is essential. A working knowledge of Networking Systems is required.
• Good working knowledge of and experience with time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Must provide a criminal record check prior to employment.
• Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license.
• This position does not require daily travel, however, if asked, must be available to travel.
• Be aware of the cultural environment in which Tikinagan Child and Family Services operates.
• Appropriate educational qualifications and/or equivalent combination of experience and training to manage the tasks and responsibilities of the position.
• Ability to communicate in one of the Tikinagan Child and Family Service catchment area dialects is preferred.
