Join Our Team as a Field Service Technician at Epiroc! The Field Technician participates in the inspection, testing, diagnosis, and repair of heavy-duty mining equipment by using critical thinking skills and applying fundamental knowledge of heavy-duty equipment operations, components and their interrelationships while prioritizing safety. Field Technicians also engage in the development and application of strengthening and maintaining customer relationships and satisfaction.

• Onsite

• Rotational shifts – 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off (day and night shifts)

• Perform equipment service, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work on surface and underground Epiroc equipment.
• Conduct machine audits/inspections as required.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Develop and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Daily time entry and technical reporting as required.
• Daily shift reports.
• Participate in company training opportunities.
• Work within and promote a supportive and innovative team culture.
• Work includes travel to multiple sites and flexible hours including some weekend work.
• Some travel out of province may be required.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other relevant tasks and duties as assigned by the manager.

• Minimum two to three (2-3) years of related experience within the mining industry.

• Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate/Licence.
• Possess a valid vehicle driver’s licence.

• Resourceful with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve customer satisfaction targets.
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good computer-based skills (i.e., emails, service reports).
• Willingness to travel and to go on site.
• Fluent in both English and French would be an asset.
