Truck and Coach Mechanic

Morgan Fuels, a large fuel and lubricant distribution company operating throughout Northwestern Ontario and Winnipeg, has an immediate employment opportunity for a full-time Truck & Coach Mechanic. This is an existing position based out of Sioux Lookout working with our other team members to ensure safe and timely maintenance and repair of our fleet of trucks & trailers. Workdays are generally Monday to Friday.

Qualifications for the position include but are not limited to:

• 310T – Truck & Coach Mechanic Trade Certification (Consideration may be given to apprentices as well as candidates without certification but with significant experience)
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Welding skills would be an asset
• Own tools and steel toe boots
• Experience in a trucking/petroleum operation
• Knowledge of petroleum handling

The successful candidate will have to provide an acceptable Criminal Records Check.

Rate of Pay: $40.79-$51.29 per hour

We offer competitive wages and benefits, including Life and Health Benefits and a pension plan (Employer contributes 9%, Employee contributes minimum 6%) as well as discounts on products after successfully completing a 3-month probationary period. Vacation entitlement increases to 3 weeks after 1 full year of employment!
