Position: Jackleg/Stopper Bolter Miner 2 Position
Location: Red Lake

Join West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. as a Miner 2 focusing on Jackleg and Stopper Bolting. This role features competitive pay and participation in a performance-based bonus program for production targets.

Reporting to the Underground Mine Supervisor, you will ensure safe operations in a 14 & 14 rotation. The successful candidate will be proficient in operating equipment and managing materials while contributing to key underground mining functions and maintaining safety standards. This role plays a vital part in advancing mining operations at the historic Madsen Gold Mine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate jackleg and stopper drills

• Install rock bolts and other ground support

• Perform workplace inspections for hazards

• Ensure safe work areas with scaling

• Collaborate with underground crews in blasting cycles

Requirements:

• 3 years of underground mining experience

• Experience with ground support installation

• Knowledge of safety procedures and methods

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Physically capable of demanding work conditions
