Hoist-Millwright Position at Red Lake Mine

Location: Red Lake

Become a key part of the Red Lake Madsen Mine team as a Hoist-Millwright with West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. in Ontario. Full-time role focusing on maintenance and operational safety.

In this full-time position, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work on a 14-on/14-off shift schedule. Your experience in safe work procedures and mechanical systems will help uphold the high standards expected at the mine. Contributing to maintenance strategies, you will help ensure a productive and compliant mining operation in the Red Lake Gold District.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair hoist plants and dewatering pumps

• Install or overhaul machinery as needed

• Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks

• Participate in all maintenance shutdown initiatives

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson-Millwright, Red Seal certified

• Three years minimum experience in mine hoist maintenance

• Valid G Driver’s License

• Understanding of mine regulations for hoist plants

• Experience in ore processing environments preferred
