Millwright at Red Lake Gold Mine

West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. seeks a full-time Hoist-Millwright at the Red Lake Madsen Mine in Ontario. Focus on maintenance, safety, and efficiency in this vital mining role.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a crucial team member working with hoist plants and machinery in a full-time capacity.

This role offers a structured 14-on/14-off schedule, emphasizing safe work practices and continuous improvement. Your technical skills will drive the reliability of mining operations in this significant gold production district.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain hoist plants and ventilation systems efficiently

• Read and interpret specifications for repairs

• Propose and implement maintenance improvements

• Engage in preventive and corrective maintenance duties

• Support maintenance shutdowns throughout the mine

Requirements:

• Certified Journeyperson-Millwright with Red Seal

• At least three years of mine hoist maintenance experience

• Valid G Driver's License required

• Knowledge of regulations pertaining to mine hoists

• Ability to lift 100 lbs and work at heights
