Join our crew as a Cost Accounting Analyst and turn numbers into powerful business insight. You’ll own the monthly cost close, lead cost roll-ups and reconciliations, uncover meaningful variance trends, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive smarter decisions. Partnering closely with operations, you’ll help refine standard costs, boost visibility, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency and profitability. JOBEXPECTATIONS
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to interpret cost results and identify improvement.
- Maintain the ERP system costing and track the flow of inventory through the ERP system.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing. Prepare all standard month-end journal entries validated with the ERP system data.
- Maintain strong internal controls around cost and inventory accounting.
- Lead initiatives to automate and improve cost and inventory accounting.
- Responsible for the budget process of settling inventory standard costs and completing the mid-year and year-end cost roll projects.
- This position has an essential role in year‑end audit and preliminary audit schedule preparation.
- Ability to manage and evaluate current projects and time available to meet project deadlines.
- Must be able to determine the best course for solving a problem, seek help or research independently.
- Identify inefficiencies in a process and create ways to accomplish goals.
- Maintain inventory standard costs timely and accurately.
- Manage time to complete all tasks in monthly close and reporting
- Support cost accounting projects including year‑end cost calculation, financial audit, and new reporting.
- Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.
- Other job duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel
