Position: CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Uline Inc., a leading North American distributor of shipping, industrial and packaging materials, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service & Support team. In this role, you will respond to customer inquiries, process orders, resolve delivery and product issues, and provide accurate information on our 40,000+ products. You'll collaborate closely with distribution and logistics teams to ensure fast, efficient service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by phone, email, and online channels, providing prompt, professional, and courteous support.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using Uline's order management and CRM systems.
  • Answer product, pricing, and availability questions across Uline's catalog of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve order issues, shipment problems, returns, and billing inquiries, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with distribution, logistics, and sales teams to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries and a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records, notes, and follow-ups in CRM tools.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance metrics related to response times, quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify recurring issues or process gaps and share feedback to help improve workflows, policies, and customer service procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current on product lines, systems, and customer service best practices.
  • Contribute to a results-driven, collaborative culture by supporting teammates and sharing knowledge to continuously improve service quality.
