The Department of English ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) invites applications for part-time instructors to teach introductory and general education courses in literature and creative writing. All areas of specialization are welcome, especially African-American literature, Asian-American literature, and prose fiction writing.

Required Qualifications:

* Candidates must have a master's degree in English or a closely related field.

* A PhD or ABD in English is preferred for literature courses.

* Creative writing courses require a master's degree or equivalent professional experience; a PhD or MFA is preferred.

* Previous teaching experience is highly desired.
