Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology

The Biology Department at Carthage College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology position in Biology with a focus on Cell Biology starting August 15, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who apply by July 1st. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

The successful candidate will join an expanding Biology Department to teach courses in Introductory Biology, Advanced Cell Biology and as well as other upper-level biology courses based upon their area of expertise. Applicants are required to have a PhD in Biology with a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. More information about our department may be found thage.edu/biology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biology
