Adjunct Professor of Film (Production)

The Carthage College Art & Design Department is currently hiring for an Adjunct Professor of Film (Production) for the 2026 fall semester. The position begins August 26 and ends December 11.

• Course: AFM 2700
  * Film and New Media Production
• Schedule:
  
  Mondays and Fridays 11:45 am–2:45 pm
• Meeting:
  Twice per week for 3‑hour class periods (total 6 hours per week)

• Teach the AFM 2700 course, planning lectures, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide feedback and grading for student work.
• Maintain course materials and stay up to date with film and new media trends.

• MFA required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Experience in film production and teaching preferred.
