You'll collaborate with dedicated professionals and engage with a variety of caseloads, gaining invaluable experience while helping students reach their full potential.

We're seeking dynamic and compassionate educators with expertise in special education for the following areas:

  • High School Cross Categorical
  • Elementary School Cross Categorical (2 positions)
  • Early Childhood Special Education (2 positions)
  • Middle School Cross Categorical (2 positions)

Assignment runs from September 1 through June 3, providing a consistent schedule aligned with the academic year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Wisconsin Special Education teaching license (appropriate to your assignment area)
  • Experience working with cross-categorical or early childhood special education strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of IEP processes and ability to develop tailored educational plans
  • Outstanding communication skills with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across a variety of age groups and needs

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized instruction for students with a range of exceptional needs
  • Develop and maintain effective IEPs, collaborating closely with families and team members
  • Create inclusive, supportive classroom environments that encourage academic and social growth
  • Employ progress monitoring and data-driven instructional techniques
  • Act as a resource and advocate for students, fostering positive relationships and engagement
