Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary students and making a profound difference in their lives. This opportunity involves working full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 3:30, in a supportive school environment near Kenosha, WI. You will have access to para educator assistance in the classroom and the chance to work closely with a small caseload, allowing for truly personalized support and instruction.
Opportunities are available for educators ready to work with either:
- Students demonstrating significant behavioral needs (currently 2 students, caseload may expand to
7)
or - Students with physical disabilities and Autism (7 students, may grow to
8)
- Current WI Cross Categorical (K-5) Certification is required for both positions
- Strong commitment to individualized student success
- Experience with behavioral intervention strategies and/or supporting students with physical and developmental differences
- Collaborative mindset for working effectively with para educators and school teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and data-tracking skills
- Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations tailored to each students IEP
- Implement researched-based strategies to address behavioral and academic needs
- Collaborate daily with classroom paras, therapists, and staff
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Engage positively with families to support student growth and development
