Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00
Job Shift: Day
PositionSchutz Container System, a Global Packaging Container Company located in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is looking for a Chemical Engineer - Waste Water Manager.
Job Duties- Strong knowledge and understanding of SDS sheets to make risk assessments, chemical classifications and waste determinations.
- Knowledge and understanding of RCRA and EPA regulations and rules.
- Experience and strong knowledge in chemical neutralization and understanding the difference between an Acid and a base.
- Classify all incoming fill goods as needed.
- Neutralize corrosive residues in Elementary Neutralization Units.
- Manage all waste streams produced at the facility for proper disposal.
- Hands on environment with 50% of time split between office work and monitoring the reconditioning process and waste streams.
- 4 year Chemical Degree.
- 3-5 year Manufacturing Experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge of MS Windows and SAP.
