I’m partnering with a highly respected, family-owned manufacturing organization to identify a Controls Engineer to support the development of advanced automated equipment used by top global brands in the food and consumer goods space.
This is a hands‑on engineering role where you’ll work on custom machinery and highly dynamic product lines
—not repetitive, commoditized systems. If you enjoy solving complex problems and seeing your work through from concept to commissioning, this is a strong fit.

- PLC & HMI programming, debugging, and commissioning of automated production equipment
- Electrical troubleshooting and on‑site machine support
- Editing and developing control systems for new builds and retrofits
- Supporting installation, startup, and technical issue resolution
- Interfacing with internal teams, technicians, and customers to drive successful project delivery
- 3–5+ years of PLC programming experience
- Strong experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs & HMIs (Studio 5000, Factory Talk, etc.)
- Proven ability in electrical troubleshooting and reading AutoCAD electrical drawings
- Hands‑on mindset with the ability to debug and solve real‑world machine issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
