Junior Live Streaming Technician

Upload Partners is a media, creative, and communications partner based in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We believe every person and everything has a story to tell, and we work fast to help our clients tell theirs. As a tenant partner at the Kenosha Innovation Center, we're a lean, hands-on team that moves quickly and wears a lot of hats.

Live streaming is one of Upload Partners' core capabilities, and we're looking for someone to grow into owning it. This is an entry-level, full-time position. No prior professional experience with switchers or encoders is required. We'll train you from the ground up, with the goal of you becoming the person our clients and our team rely on for every live stream we run.

This isn't a support role that stays a support role. You'll start by learning the gear and the workflow, and as you build skill, you'll take on more ownership: managing the equipment, refining our process, and being the point person on live projects.

• Learn and eventually own setup, operation, and breakdown of our live streaming equipment (cameras, switchers, audio, encoders)
• Run live productions on-site, including events, conferences, and client shoots, whenever they happen
• Monitor stream quality and troubleshoot technical issues in real time
• Maintain and improve our streaming gear and workflow over time
• Become the internal go-to resource on live streaming for the rest of the team
• Travel to client and event locations as needed

• A genuine interest in live production, streaming, or broadcast technology, and the drive to become an expert in it
• Comfortable working with technology and troubleshooting on the fly
• Strong communicator who works well as part of a small team and can eventually lead on live projects
• Able to lift and transport production gear
• Availability for regular evening and weekend work tied to client events, not standard nine to five hours
• Reliable transportation
