Position: Relationship Banker (I, II, and Senior)

Overview

Johnson Financial Group (JFG) is Wisconsin's largest family‑owned, privately held financial institution and we are looking for a Relationship Banker to join our Consumer Banking team. As the face of the bank, you will provide highly personalized service, manage an existing portfolio of clients, and promote deposit and loan products while developing new and existing relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise consumer and small business clients on deposits, loans and related financial services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio, work proactively to deepen relationships and retain clients, and acquire new ones.
  • Identify and refer clients and prospects to appropriate business partners to expand relationships in other lines of business.
  • Use technology to enhance the client experience and monitor performance through reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and pricing, and use comparison techniques with clients.
  • Follow all operational procedures, security and safety policies.
  • Cover the teller line and perform cash handling duties as needed.
  • Adhere to the professional dress code, including wearing JFG logo apparel and name tags.
Qualifications and Benefits
  • 2–4 years of financial services experience, with at least 1 year in banking or lending; proven sales track record with referrals.
  • High school graduate or equivalent; advanced training or education is a plus and tuition reimbursement is available.
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration will be obtained upon hire.
  • Excellent client‑service and communication skills; genuine care for helping people.
  • Eligible for company profit‑sharing bonus.
