Phlebotomist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled phlebotomist to join our team. This role involves both out-patient and in-patient responsibilities, ensuring high-quality care and accurate specimen collection.

Out-Patient Responsibilities:

* Perform blood draws throughout the day, averaging 6 to 12 draws per hour.

* Work primarily in the same room for most of the shift.

In-Patient Responsibilities:

* Move throughout the hospital facility to collect blood samples from patients.

* Respond to emergency/code situations to collect blood samples (training will be provided).

* Collect and recollect various specimen samples.

* Spin down and freeze specimens as required.

General Responsibilities:

* Perform data entry for all collected samples.

* Utilize a positive patient m to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $27.00/hr.
