What You ll Be Doing- Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately and safely.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
- Hold pharmacy technicians accountable and contribute to expanding the pharmacy business.
- Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
- Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
- Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures as well as state and federal laws.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and act as an agent of change.
- Maintain excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
- Listen to patients and address their needs, providing strong customer service.
- In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, be responsible for pharmacy operations.
- Perform and oversee clinical services where allowed, including immunizations.
- This job profile is not all inclusive; duties may be added or assigned as required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
- Retail/Community Practice experience.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems, policies and procedures, and understanding of regulatory requirements in the state the unit operates.
Must be a Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Wisconsin. Flexible Full Time or Part Time Float.
