American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week contract offering 1:1 patient sessions with no patient overlap.

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with treatment rooms surrounding a large gym space
• 4x10-hour day shifts per week (2 days 7am–5pm, 2 days 7am–6pm)
• 1:1, 60-minute patient sessions with no overlapping appointments
• Patient population includes orthopedic conditions such as total knee/hip replacement, post-op spinal and shoulder surgeries, low back pain, DDD, DJD, sciatica, and various extremity injuries
• Epic EMR; experience preferred
• Local candidates accepted (at a different rate); must reside within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• 2 supervisor references required after offer
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial profile submission
• Travel pairs are accepted
• Candidates with a latex allergy cannot be accommodated at this facility
• Return staff must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• WI PT license or compact license required; pending license acceptable
• Orthopedic PT experience required
• Post‑op spinal surgery experience required
• Experience with spinal conditions, spinal mobilization, and extremity mobilization preferred
• Proficiency in standard PT assessments including AROM/AAROM/PROM, pain assessment, and strength testing
• Experience with gait training and use of assistive devices (gait belt, standard walker, crutches)
• Experience documenting evaluations, plans of care, short/long‑term goals, reassessments, and discharge summaries
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• WI or compact PT license required in hand for consideration
• License required if applicable
