Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient orthopedic experience for a 13-week contract offering 1:1 patient sessions with no patient overlap.

Job Details

• Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with treatment rooms surrounding a large gym space,

• 4x10-hour day shifts per week (2 days 7am-5pm, 2 days 7am-6pm),

• 1:1, 60-minute patient sessions with no overlapping appointments,

• Patient population includes orthopedic conditions such as total knee/hip replacement, post-op spinal and shoulder surgeries, low back pain, DDD, DJD, sciatica, and various extremity injuries,

• Epic EMR; experience preferred,

• Local candidates accepted (at a different rate); must reside within 50 miles of the facility,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• WI PT license or compact license required; pending license acceptable,

• Orthopedic PT experience required,

• Post-op spinal surgery experience required,

• Experience with spinal conditions, spinal mobilization, and extremity mobilization preferred,

• Proficiency in standard PT assessments including AROM/AAROM/PROM, pain assessment, and strength testing,

• Experience with gait training and use of assistive devices (gait belt, standard walker, crutches),

• Experience documenting evaluations, plans of care, short/long-term goals, reassessments, and discharge summaries,

• SSN and DOB required for consideration,

• WI or compact PT license required in hand for consideration,

• License required if applicable,

• 2 supervisor references required after offer,
