Senior System Analyst Senior System Analyst Responsibilities

The senior system analyst performs system build and integrated testing. Provides technical support through ongoing maintenance, development, implementation and documentation of features/enhancements of Epic or other hospital software. A senior systems analyst is a resource for other analysts and works with interfaces, reporting, data collection and meeting external requirements.

• Performs system build and integrated testing as appropriate.
• Collaborates with operational departments and end users to design appropriate workflows for system capabilities.
• Communicates and documents all changes made to the software/system.
• Troubleshoots system problems for the end user.
• Functions as subject matter expert for area of concentration in Epic or other hospital software.
• Provides system security and access as appropriate.
• Answers help desk calls and triages or resolved as appropriate.
• Project management for area of concentration in Epic or other hospital software.

• 3 to 5 years
• Associate degree in Computer Science
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English language.
• At least one (1) year of work experience in hospital department, preferably clinical department.
• At least one (1) year of work experience that demonstrates the ability to organize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize, analyze, problem-solve, and educate
• Ability to learn various software applications
• Knowledgeable in Epic software
