Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes and objectives, and perform gap‑fit analysis within Business Central.
- Configure, customize, and optimize Dynamics 365 Business Central modules, including Finance (GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets), Inventory and Supply Chain, and Sales and Purchasing.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and develop appropriate system solutions.
- Develop and maintain AL extensions, reports, and integrations, including support for third‑party systems using APIs, web services, EDI, or Azure services.
- Support data migration, system upgrades, enhancements, testing, UAT, deployment, and ongoing production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance problems, and integration errors while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Create and maintain solution documentation, configuration guides, and functional specifications, and deliver end‑user training and knowledge transfer.
- Support user adoption by ensuring solutions align with business workflows and best practices.
- Serve as the lead resource for Power BI architecture and reporting services.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV in a functional or technical‑functional role.
- Strong functional knowledge of ERP processes (Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing).
- Hands‑on experience with AL language, Business Central extensions, integrations (APIs/web services), data migration, and system upgrades.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills; able to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft Certification (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate) preferred.
- Experience with Power Platform, Azure services, EDI, third‑party ERP integrations, or Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or professional services environments and prior consulting/multi‑project work preferred.
- Pre‑employment background check and drug screening required.
