As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team, shaping our AI-driven product architecture, and ensuring our software solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will work closely with product, data science, and executive leadership to drive innovation and build industry-leading technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
• Define and execute the technical vision and roadmap for AI-powered software solutions.
• Drive best practices in engineering, AI model deployment, and Dev Ops.

AI & Product Development

• Architect and develop scalable AI-driven applications, with a focus on legal and medical use cases.
• Oversee the integration of Azure AI services and ensure the effective use of cloud technologies.
• Work with large volumes of unstructured data, including NLP, document processing, and AI/ML applications.

Technical Expertise & Hands-on Development

• Provide hands-on technical leadership in Python, SQL, and AI-focused development.
• Optimize data pipelines, model training, and inference processes for high performance.
• Ensure best practices in data security and compliance with industry regulations.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment

• Partner with product and data science teams to align AI models with customer needs.
• Work closely with leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.
• Stay ahead of AI advancements and ensure continuous improvement in product capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving product architecture for AI-powered solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and working with large datasets (structured & unstructured).
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Azure AI, and AI/ML frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch, OpenAI, Lang Chain).
• Deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and AI model deployment.
• Experience in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex AI and software challenges.
• Industry experience in legal tech, healthcare tech, or AI-driven document processing is a plus.
