The Kohler Co. aspiration of creating gracious experiences for our customers, consumers and associates is increasingly enabled by digital technologies and driven by data and AI. This position will play a key role in accelerating Kohler’s growth & profitability by developing a digital strategy and roadmap for KOHLER Manufacturing operations. The roadmap will bring to life business cases for technology driven capabilities enabling innovation and delivering rapid value.

A key part of this strategy is driving forward the Next Gen ERP transformation. The business-led transformation will drive people & process married with technical deployment.

In pursuit of those goals, we require an IT professional for this unique and highly influential global position. The position will report to the VP - IT, Enterprise Functions, and will partner directly with the Global SVP of Manufacturing Operations, and their staff, as business leader first, who brings digital expertise.

A successful candidate will be a passionate leader, strategic thinker, a business advocate, a change agent and able to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization. The ability to rapidly understand the opportunities at a global level, thinking from a capability and end-to-end perspective, create an aligned and inspiring vision and roadmap and then align organizations to realize that vision is critical to success.

This role will drive programs of strategic and critical importance and will bring with it significant need for senior level influence.

The incumbent will create and align a market-relevant technology strategy and a dynamic implementation roadmap that is appropriately synchronized with global strategies, and best leverages a hybrid global/local delivery model. Given the focus of this position the candidate requires an in-depth knowledge of IT best practices and technology solutions. Advanced experience in leading IT and being the Business Relationship manager for large, global businesses is required along with demonstrated experience on value delivery, critical thinking, stakeholder management, negotiation & influencing, design thinking, business acumen and domain knowledge.

This role requires the ability to facilitate and carry out design thinking workshops to promote diverse thinking, innovation and alignment on strategic initiatives and business priorities that result in actionable plans with defined execution goals.

Skills / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field required. Masters / MBA desirable.
  • 10+ years’ related experience. Experience in manufacturing business a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record of partnering with business stakeholders and handling multiple complex transformation projects.
  • Experience with leading and working in large teams.
  • Experience in multiple aspects of technology: analysis, project management, systems development, change management, business process improvement, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for varied audiences on business and technology related subject matter – storytelling and making the complex simple.
  • Strong general management skills.
  • This position will require travel to locations within North America and overseas.

Salary range for this position is $135,600 - $211,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
