* What We're Looking For:

** This Supervisor Operations role manages the day-to-day execution of picking operations at Zebra's distribution center, with direct oversight and accountability for the people, productivity, safety, quality and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Manages up to 35 employees and / or contract workers in an operational area;
Is directly responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and engagement of the staff
* Assigns daily work, monitors progress, engages to resolve obstacles to ensure KPIs are met
* Collaborates with peers across shifts and functions to support optimized performance across the site / business
* Intentionally engages to drive a culture of belonging, development, safely, continuous improvement and high performance
* Models Zebra’s culture and values for the teams they lead
* Compiles and analyzes operational data;
Prepares reports for leadership that include proposals to address performance gaps in the team
* Evaluates performance of subordinates, provides coaching and feedback to support success;  Conducts performance appraisals and determines pay increases for direct reports in alignment with Zebra’s philosophies and practices
* Partners with Human Resources to recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and discipline
* Participates or leads projects as assigned
* Performs other duties as assigned
** Job Requirements
**
* Education:

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industry

* Work Experience:

6+ years of experience including minimum 1 year as team lead /supervisor
** Key Skills and Competencies
*** Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Must possess strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills
* Intermediate level skills in MS Office and Microsoft systems
* Working knowledge of ISO standards and guidelines
* Knowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologies
