The Quality Technician team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing function with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.
On-Site position in Kenosha Wi.
Day Shift: Monday - Friday
8am - 4:30pm
- Provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra’s quality‑assurance processes
- Conduct nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra’s authorized vendors as appropriate
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Supervisors to implement corrective actions
- Engages management as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues
- Support new product quality plan implementations
- Ability to understand specific technical requirements, delivering output following broad framework
- Support ISO 9001 QMS
- Other research or related activities as deemed necessary
Minimum Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- 2+ years of work experience
- Fluent level of English (written and verbal)
- Strong process adherence
- Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, multi‑task environment
- Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
- Self‑directed with ability to be efficient with minimal supervision
- Intermediate problem solving skills
- Prior working experience in manufacturing environment (preferred Print/Label Industry)
