Aboutthe Role
We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our plastic injection molding and assembly operations. This role is responsible for driving production performance, ensuring product quality, and leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in injection molding and a passion for continuous improvement.
This position is based on-site in Kenosha, WI. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily molding and assembly operations to meet production, quality, and efficiency targets
- Optimize staffing and workflow to maximize productivity
- Monitor production setups, assembly processes, and product quality; troubleshoot issues as needed
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Ensure effective shift-to-shift communication and operational continuity
- Train, coach, and develop employees; conduct performance evaluations and enforce company policies
- Collaborate with warehouse to ensure availability of materials and components
- Maintain compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements
- 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (injection molding preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of injection molding processes and assembly operations
- Familiarity with SPC and quality control procedures
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 3 hours at a time)
- Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 35 lbs.)
- Visual inspection of parts for quality assurance
