What We’re Looking ForPerform the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Operate a power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. Use standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers. This is a 2nd Shift position, M-F 3:45pm-12:15am.
- Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.
- Move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
- Perform outbound staging and packing in accordance with site policies.
- Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
- Learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System.
- Maintain inventory accuracy.
- Handle and control hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.
- Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
- Complete required safety training and follow protocol in all risk situations.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.
- Obtain certification on powered industrial trucks (sit‑down, dock stocker, powered pallet jacks).
- Know safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
- Be capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.
- Perform activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving, and loading functions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Less than 1 year proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
- Full knowledge of all functions within own area.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Certification in operating various types of forklifts (sit‑down, stand‑up, pallet jacks) is a plus.
