Forklift Operator, 2nd Shift M-F

Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Operate a power industrial truck to transport material within the facility. Use standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers. This is a 2nd Shift position, M-F 3:45pm-12:15am.

• Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.
• Move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
• Perform outbound staging and packing in accordance with site policies.
• Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
• Learn to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Handle and control hazardous material on both inbound and outbound.
• Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
• Complete required safety training and follow protocol in all risk situations.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.
• Obtain certification on powered industrial trucks (sit‑down, dock stocker, powered pallet jacks).
• Know safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
• Be capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
• Lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.
• Perform activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving, and loading functions.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than 1 year proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
• Full knowledge of all functions within own area.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Certification in operating various types of forklifts (sit‑down, stand‑up, pallet jacks) is a plus.
