Utility Operator
Hourly pay of $20 per hour with shift differentials: $1.50 for 2nd shift and $3.00 for 3rd shift
. Once cross trained, the individual must be able to work alternate shifts (3PM - 11PM and 11PM - 7AM).
Base pay of $20 per hour, with shift differentials of $1.50 for 2nd shift and $3.00 for 3rd shift. Starting range $19-$21 per hour. Additional earning potential commensurate with experience and bonus plan of 5% annual.
Work Schedule1st Shift: 7AM - 3PM (OT options available). Must be cross trained to work 2nd Shift (3PM - 11PM) and 3rd Shift (11PM - 7AM) as needed.
Responsibilities- Routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs and outside grounds in any department as needed.
- Specialized cleaning tasks such as bin cleanings, rebolting sifters, filter sock changes, and basic process maintenance.
- Get cross‑trained in at least two different operator jobs.
- Understand and follow all personnel and equipment safety policies, sanitation policies, and business unit policies and procedures.
- Perform special duties assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in computer tools including email and spreadsheets.
- Proficient in English both written and verbally.
- At least one year of manufacturing or plant operations experience (preferred).
- Able to lift 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force.
- Able to work in environments that may contain dust and wear respiratory protection, as well as hot and cold conditions.
- Work on feet and walk about the facility 80% of the shift; ascend and descend stairs, climb ladders, and stand on rail cars as necessary.
- Wear required PPE and maintain a clean shaven face for respirator use.
