Job Description & How to Apply Below
A day in the life
You start at the line, performing in-process checks with calipers and micrometers. A blueprint guides your next inspection as you verify dimensions and tolerances. You record results, flag a nonconformance, and collaborate with operators to pinpoint root cause. Later, you receive incoming materials and confirm they meet spec before supporting a continuous improvement idea that tightens a critical process window. You wrap up by organizing your bench and logging your final reports.
What you’ll do Conduct in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts and products
Apply precision metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection equipment)
Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings to verify specifications

Independent work style with clear, effective communication to production teams
Preferred background
Exposure to CNC manufacturing or fabrication environments

Experience executing in-process inspections and quality checks
