Responsibilities
  • Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Operate a power industrial truck to transport material within the facility, using standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts, and computers.
  • Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments.
  • Picks and stages orders for shipping.
  • Load, unload, put away, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment.
  • Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments.
  • Learn to use handheld RF scanners and the Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Handle and control hazardous material on both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Comply with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations.
  • Complete all required safety training and follow protocol in all risk situations.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriate to tasks at hand.
  • Hold certification on powered industrial trucks (sit‑down, dock stocker, powered pallet jacks).
  • Know safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation.
  • Be capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
  • Be able to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 75 pounds.
  • Perform activities to evaluate and maintain equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift

This is a 2nd shift position:
Monday‑Friday 3:45 pm – 12:15 am.

Minimum Requirements
  • Less than 1 year of proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse setting or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in operating industrial forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including stand‑up reach, sit‑down order picker, and pallet jack.
Preferred Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Full knowledge of all functions within own area.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience with RF equipment for transporting, receiving, and loading functions.
  • Certification in operating various types of forklifts (e.g., sit‑down, stand‑up, pallet jacks).

Compensation

Pay: $21.00 per hour.

Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, this role offers the opportunity to earn a performance‑based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
