Final Assembler

Job Purpose:

Assemble electronic circuit boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority.

Nature of Duties:

* Perform a wide variety of electronic or electromechanical assembly operations

* Demonstrates the ability to read, follow, and execute standardized assembly tasks using electronic work instructions

* Follow standard sequence of operations while conducting daily task including hand soldering, wiring, and component installation, harnessing and hardware assembly on circuit boards and other types of electronic assemblies

* This position is held to the highest standards in safety, ethics, quality, delivery, and productivity

* Excellent attention to detail

* Work typically includes interaction with development and manufacturing engineering personnel

* May perform rework and quality testing

* Ability to sit for long periods of time

* Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED

* 1-2 years of related Experience

* Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is necessary

* Work overtime as required on business needs

* Must be able to lift 25-30lbs

* Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous hand soldering experience, or the willingness to learn this skill.
