Aluminum Assembler – 1st ShiftShift: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 01:30 PM Position Type:
Full-Time
An Aluminum Assembler with Machine Operator experience is responsible for assembling aluminum components and operating manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality parts. This role involves reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, operating CNC or production machines, and ensuring all finished products meet quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble aluminum parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
- Operate production machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, saws, drills, or other fabrication equipment
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
- Perform basic machine setup, loading/unloading materials, and routine adjustments
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and report defects or inconsistencies
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily output goals
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines when needed
- Prior experience in aluminum assembly or general manufacturing
- Machine operating experience (CNC, press brake, or similar industrial equipment preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Experience in metal fabrication or machining environment
- Forklift experience (optional, depending on facility)
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices.
