Aluminum Assembler – 1st Shift

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 01:30 PM Position Type:
Full-Time

Job Summary

An Aluminum Assembler with Machine Operator experience is responsible for assembling aluminum components and operating manufacturing machinery to produce high-quality parts. This role involves reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, operating CNC or production machines, and ensuring all finished products meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble aluminum parts and subassemblies according to work instructions, blueprints, and specifications
  • Operate production machinery such as press brakes, CNC machines, saws, drills, or other fabrication equipment
  • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools
  • Perform basic machine setup, loading/unloading materials, and routine adjustments
  • Ensure parts meet quality standards and report defects or inconsistencies
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily output goals
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machines when needed
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in aluminum assembly or general manufacturing
  • Machine operating experience (CNC, press brake, or similar industrial equipment preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience using measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
  • Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods
  • Basic math and measurement skills
Physical Requirements
  • Experience in metal fabrication or machining environment
  • Forklift experience (optional, depending on facility)
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S practices.
