Fabrication Machine Operator - SAW Operator – 2nd Shift

The Fabrication Machine Operator – SAW Operator is responsible for operating saw equipment and fabrication machinery to cut metal materials according to production specifications and blueprints. This position supports manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate cuts, maintaining quality standards, and meeting production goals in a safe and efficient manner during 2nd shift operations.

• Operate saw machines and fabrication equipment to cut metal materials to specified dimensions
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
• Measure materials using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Load and unload raw materials onto machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspect finished materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
• Perform machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting as needed
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals

• Previous machine operating or fabrication experience preferred
• Experience operating industrial saw equipment is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Forklift or overhead crane experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
