Position: Freelance Writer - Direct Mail, Digital & Impact Messaging
Location: Remote (within continental U.S.)
What You’ll Write- Direct Mail Appeals
:
Acquisition, renewal, and emergency appeal packages that motivate donors to give. - Digital Content
:
Email campaigns, social copy, landing pages, and e-appeals designed to convert online audiences. - Impact Messaging
:
Donor reports, stewardship pieces, and case statements that demonstrate results and deepen donor relationships.
- Have experience writing fundraising or direct response copy.
- Understand the art of the ask — and know how to tell a story that leads to one.
- Can write for both print and digital audiences with equal fluency.
- Meet deadlines, take feedback well, and work independently.
- Have a portfolio of direct mail, email, or nonprofit writing samples.
