Schedule Details- 1.0 Day shift with call
* May consider 24-30 hours. - Schedule can consider 8’s , 10’s , or 12’s .
- Call will be 4 weeknight shifts per month, one call weekend every other month (starts Friday 1500-Monday 0630).
- Holiday rotation includes one 12-hour in-house call holiday shift and one 12-hour "call" holiday shift.
- Previous OR experience preferred; previous RN experience required.
Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will WorkAurora Summit Surgery is a high-volume, fast-paced OR supporting approximately 25 cases per day across 12 operating rooms, including two dedicated trauma rooms and two dedicated robotic rooms. The department cares for both inpatient and outpatient elective and trauma patients across a wide range of specialties including trauma, orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, general surgery, neuro, plastics, ophthalmology, pain, and cysto, with orthopedics making up nearly 50% of overall volume.
Unique features include DIEP flap and bariatric specialties, a portable cysto room, newly renovated OR suites upgraded in 2026, and two additional rooms added to support growth. The culture is collaborative and highly supportive, with strong relationships among teammates, surgeons, and anesthesia providers, a shared governance mindset, and a team environment where both new graduates and seasoned experts continue expanding their skills and expertise.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association or within 6 months.
- Previous RN OR experience is preferred.
- As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
