Title-Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) About the Facility
- 74-bed hospital
- Primary Stroke Center
- Accredited Chest Pain Center
- Active FNE Program with 24/7 RN on-call coverage
- 21-bed Emergency Department + 6-bed annex
- Treats patients of all ages
- First-time travelers welcome
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC/TNS
- CPI or MOAB
- Strong critical care skill set
- Ability to care for patients across all age groups
- Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Charge nurse with reduced patient assignment
- 24/7 in-house Hospitalist and ED Physician coverage
- Phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws
- Nursing station telemetry monitoring
- EMR: Epic
- IV Pumps: Alaris
- Medication Dispensing: Pyxis
- Monitoring Equipment: GE Monitors
- No call required
- No holiday requirement
- Up to 7 days of approved time off
- Orientation includes at least one shift to learn unit flow
