Key Responsibilities Quality Inspectors are responsible for examining products, components, and materials to verify they conform to engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company standards. Their duties include:
Conducting visual inspections and using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to check dimensions, tolerances, and physical characteristics of products Indeed+1. Monitoring production processes to prevent non-conforming products and recommending adjustments to improve quality  Documenting findings and maintaining accurate records of inspections, measurements, and test results job description.org. Collaborating with manufacturing teams to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements Indeed+1. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in the workplace  Required Skills and Competencies A successful Quality Inspector should possess:

Education and Qualifications A high school diploma is typically required, with on-the-job training provided U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
